Aubrey loved it. Heh.
We had our 1 wk appointment with the pediatrician (actually one week and two days).
Bad news - she's gained only one ounce since Friday. That's five days and she should have gained half an ounce to one ounce each day, which would have been two and half ounces to five ounces. The pediatrician wants us to breast feed up to 15 minutes on each side and then feed her a bottle of 60 ml of breastmilk each time, every three hours. We'll go back on Friday (two days) to see if she gains any weight. Say a prayer for little Aubrey! Grow, grow, grow.

We'll be praying for precious Aubrey's weight gain. Take heart - Trey went through the same thing. Now he's a chunky monkey at 14 lbs - yikes! Everything is so new to a baby fresh from the womb that it takes awhile for a baby to learn, eating included. She has 2 loving parents, an adoring Granny & GranGran, and a watchful pediatrician, so Aubrey is in great hands.
