happy halloween!

Aubrey was a lot more excited about trick-or-treating this year.

She never quite said "trick or treat" but she did say "thank you" after each treat received.

pumpkin patch!

She would pick-up a small pumpkin, exclaim "ball!" and then throw it to the ground.

After she would throw a pumpkin, I would tell her "no, it's a pumpkin. you have to be gentle." And I would softly pat the pumpkin.

She, in turn, would pat the pumpkin while telling me "shhhh!" with one finger to her mouth. I guess she equates gentle to quiet?

"Shhhh!"

pat pat pat... "Shhhh!"
